Ask - Is there a lot of wind here? Can the wind be used to generate electricity?
Imagine - If a propeller can use energy to move a plane or a boat, could something similar be driven by the wind to produce electric power?
Design, Build - How can the idea be tested with a model? Does the model work as expected? Can the model be scaled up to create a full size working wind turbine?
Improve - The early wind turbines were not very reliable. They were expense to build. Many improvements in design and manufacturing have been made to reduce costs and improve efficiency and reliability.
